By booking with Tripvedas Yatra & Holidays, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which govern your relationship with our services and define how you interact with us.
Tour Price
Tour prices may change based on group size and other factors.
Accommodations
Accommodations in remote areas may be basic, often without amenities like round-the-clock electricity, hot water, or Wi-Fi.
Room Categories & Upgrades
Packages are based on standard rooms; upgrades are available at additional cost and subject to availability.
Large group bookings may require accommodations in more than one hotel, and room standards may vary.
Special Requests
Requests such as early check-in or specific room preferences depend on availability and may incur extra charges.
Meal Plans
Meals are typically fixed menu or buffet; snacks, soups, drinks, and desserts may not be included and may cost extra.
Alcohol
Alcohol consumption should follow hotel rules and is not promoted in high-altitude areas.
Triple Sharing Rooms
Triple sharing rooms offer an extra mattress, not a standard third bed.
Water and Electricity
Water and electricity may be limited in hilly areas; hotels may have fixed schedules for hot/cold water.
ID Requirement
All guests must submit valid photo ID at check-in for compliance with government regulations.
Camp Accommodations
Camps in remote regions (e.g., Sarchu, Nubra) are very basic, with limited amenities. Swiss Camps may have attached bathrooms but lack running hot water and regular electricity.
Possible Delays
Vehicles may be delayed due to unforeseen events like traffic or strikes; please be patient and board promptly.
Vehicle Usage
Vehicles are provided strictly according to itinerary, not for personal use.
No AC in vehicles in hilly regions.
Bus Transfers
Volvo bus journeys are managed by third-party vendors. Replacement in case of breakdowns may take time.
Lunch/dinner stops are selected by the vendor.
Tour Program & Participation
Follow the tour itinerary. No refunds for late arrivals, early departures, or unused services.
Discontinuation
No refunds for services unused due to illness, loss of documents, or voluntary discontinuation.
Pre-Tour Services
Pre-tour services are non-refundable if the main tour is not joined.
Behavior Policy
Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour.
Liabilities
Tripvedas Yatra & Holidays’ liability is limited to employees and representatives, not third-party contractors.
Severability
If one term is invalid, remaining terms still apply. Liability is limited to the amount paid for your tour.
Price Changes
Prices may change due to fuel costs or transportation charges. You are responsible for any increases before departure.
Legal Time Limits
Any legal claims must be made within 10 days of tour completion.
Booking through Agents
If you book with a travel agent, your contract is with them and Tripvedas is only the supplier.
Scheme Changes
Discounts and offers can be withdrawn or changed at any time unless otherwise specified.
Liability
If your booked tour is changed or cancelled, you may opt for a substitute as suggested or accept the changes. In any case, compensation for damages or extra expenses will not be provided. Refunds, if any, will be minus actual booking expenses.
Tripvedas is not responsible for illness, injury, theft, delays, discomfort, lost baggage, airline overbooking/cancellations, or force majeure events.
Brochure details are provided to inform but are not guarantees. Tripvedas is not responsible for actions or defaults of service providers such as airlines, hotels, and transport operators.
You are responsible for any damages caused by your actions to vendors or service providers.
Other Terms
An initial deposit per person is required at booking; full payment must comply with our payment schedule, otherwise your booking may be cancelled and cancellation fees apply.
By accepting these terms, you agree to receive booking-related messages via WhatsApp, email, and SMS from Tripvedas.
If Adventure Travel Insurance is provided or opted for, accurate information must be provided. Incorrect details may lead to claim denial.
Discontinuation from the trip after it begins requires a written request submitted to the Trip/Trek Leader, with no refunds for unused services.
Tripvedas reserves the right to terminate contracts, substitute or withdraw tours/facilities, and alter terms as needed.
Health & Safety
Tripvedas is not liable for any harm, accidents, delays, or mishaps during your trip, including those due to actions of independent contractors.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the tour.
Any complaints about third-party services should be made in writing and shared with our tour manager.
All claims or complaints must be submitted in writing within 10 days of your tour ending.
Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, war, government actions, etc.), any extra costs incurred must be borne by passengers.
Bike Guidelines (for bike tours)
Riders must have appropriate experience, obey safety rules and local laws, and are responsible for their own safety and that of their passengers.
Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited before and during rides.
Tripvedas reserves the right to refuse participation or remove individuals for unsafe conduct or disruptive behavior.
Tripvedas is not responsible for accidents, loss, or safety lapses during bike tours.
By booking or participating in a trip with Tripvedas Yatra & Holidays, you confirm acceptance of all these Terms and Conditions.
Other Policies – Tripvedas Yatra & Holidays
Promotions
We may capture photos, videos, and audio during your tour to showcase experiences on our website, social media, and promotional materials. Participation in promotional content does not require special permission or payment.
License and Travel Documents
Guests are responsible for ensuring all travel documents (passports, visas, ID cards) are valid and available before the tour.
You must be at least 18 years old to join.
Refunds are not provided if entry to a destination is denied.
Motorcycle tours require a valid motorcycle license and all necessary paperwork.
Indemnification
If you cause any loss or damage during the tour, you may be held responsible for associated costs.
Privacy Policy
We prioritize the safety and privacy of your information, sharing it only when required for service delivery.
Amendment and Modifications
Terms and policies may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the latest policies.
Waiver
Our flexibility in enforcing policies does not waive our rights under the terms.
Severability
If any term is found unenforceable, other terms remain valid and enforceable.
Governing Law
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Gautam Buddh Nagar district.
Termination
We may discontinue services or bookings if you breach the rules and policies.
Complaints, Suggestions & Comments
Feedback is welcomed during your trip or via email within 28 days of any issue. We are committed to your satisfaction.
Itinerary Changes
Tour plans may be adjusted or cancelled due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters). Minimum booking requirements (usually 4 participants) apply. If a tour is cancelled due to insufficient bookings, a full refund will be issued.
Booking, Cancellations, and Refund
Final tour cost is confirmed at booking. Full payment is required before travel documents are issued. If you miss the tour or leave early, additional expenses are your responsibility.
Revision Fees
Changes to your booking or itinerary, especially within 45 days of travel, may incur fees similar to cancellation charges.
Cancellation for Non-Payment
Non-payment may result in cancellation and associated fees.
Cancellation by You
Initial deposits are non-refundable.
For cancellations more than two months before the tour, balance payments will be refunded within 45 days.
No refunds for cancellations made later or during the tour.
Refunds
Refunds are determined by our team and processed within 10 days.
No refunds for unused services.
Credit Notes
Credit notes may be issued upon cancellations within specified days based on trip category.
Weekend Getaways: Up to 16 days
Bike & Backpacking: Up to 30 days
Treks: Up to 21 days
Domestic Customized Tours: Up to 30 days
International Tours: Up to 60 days
Credit notes are transferable but only one can be used per person per trip and cannot be clubbed.
They cannot be used for the same trip/date originally cancelled.
No expiry; they are valid for lifetime.
If the credit note exceeds the new trip cost, the balance is reissued as a new credit note.
Proprietary Rights
All website content and materials are protected under copyright and relevant laws. Usage requires prior written permission.
No Warranty
Information is provided “as is.” While accuracy is aimed for, errors may occur and perfection cannot be guaranteed.
Disclaimer of Liability
Tripvedas Yatra & Holidays is not liable for accidents, lost luggage, delays, fines, or other losses that may occur during your tour.
Exclusions and Limitations
Our liability limitations are fair and reasonable; we ask for your understanding.
Additional Reminders
Tour prices are subject to change as per occupancy.
Certain remote regions lack luxury hotels and even basic amenities at times.
Rooms and amenities may vary and upgrades are payable directly to the hotel.
Special requests and meal plans are subject to availability and additional costs.
Triple sharing rooms provide an extra mattress, not a full third bed.
Limited water and electricity supply may be encountered in hilly regions.
Valid photo identification is required for every guest.
Camp accommodations at locations like Sarchu, Nubra, Pangong, and Chandratal are basic.
Vehicle usage is strictly as per itinerary; no air conditioning in vehicles in hilly areas.
Volvo bus services are operated by third-party vendors; lunch/dinner stops are predefined. Replacement vehicles are provided in case of breakdowns, but there may be delays.
