A bike and backpacking trip to Spiti Valley is the ultimate Himalayan adventure — a journey that blends rugged off-road riding with serene cultural exploration. Known as the “Middle Land” between India and Tibet, Spiti offers an untouched mix of cold desert landscapes, snow-fed rivers, vibrant monasteries, and high-altitude villages.
This summer expedition takes you from Delhi to Jibhi, a peaceful riverside retreat, then into the heart of Spiti via Chitkul, Kalpa, Dhankar, Nako, Tabo, Pin Valley, Kaza, Hikkim, Komic, Langza, and Chandratal Lake. Along the way, you’ll witness Asia’s highest bridge (Chicham), send a postcard from the world’s highest post office, and ride over iconic passes like Kunzum.
With Himalayan BS6 bikes, safety marshals, support vehicles, riding gear, and expert trip leaders, this journey is equally fit for seasoned riders and adventurous backpackers. Off the bike, you’ll connect with locals, learn about Buddhist culture, and soak in Spiti’s pristine mountain air.
